The Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Open Mapping Hub is supporting HOT's goal of mapping an area home to one billion people in areas vulnerable to disasters or experiencing multidimensional poverty across 94 countries. In this episode, we speak with Monica Nthiga, the Regional Director for the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Open Mapping Hub. The ESA hub will be supporting communities and organizations in 22 countries across Africa and Monica shares extensively on how their plans and how people in the region can get involved.
