I. Interview
Today’s guest is a 3rd generation firearm industry professional, and known by many as the “most un-gun, gun guy.” In 2006 he became the president of Eagle Imports, a position from which he would evolve and grow the various brands under its banner. In 2018, he formed a non-profit organization dedicated to making positive changes in relationship to mental health, and firearm awareness; it’s my pleasure to welcome Michael Sodinin from Walk the Talk America to the show.
II. Run and Gun
III. Let’s Mix It Up
Today on Let’s Mix It Up we are going to discuss how to help people who are less acquainted with firearms better understand the second amendment culture.
- Cultural Competence Classes
- How could this apply to people outside of mental health professionals
IV. Outro
Michael, I want to thank you for coming on the show and discussing this important topic with us. Firearms owners should be able to seek out help for mental health issues without feeling stigmatized or in danger of losing their second amendment rights. Walk the Talk America is a strong ally in reducing this fear and if anyone out there is having issues and needs help please go to their website and start the mental screening process.
