Ten years ago, she and her co-founders wanted to find a place that was affordable and provided a community atmosphere and thus Bamboo was born. As Co-founder of Bamboo, Amanda leads the growth of Bamboo's nearly 1,000 person diverse membership community. She is also an award winning writer of literary fiction. She lives in Detroit with her husband, daughter, and their three rescue pups.
