In this episode, we:discussed some of the ways in which mainstream and corporate culture are co-opting IDAHOBIT to become a bizaare form of celebration instead of the solemn day it is.delved into how much of this is related to the way in which persistent challenges faced by queer people are washed over through apathy, trivialised celebration, and the pathologising of remaining problems.concluded the importance of resisting these oppressive forces through political action performed at the individual, group and organisational level.
