Draw in a deep breath,

and let it flow into your center

relaxing you.


PAUSE


Draw in another breath,

and feel it moving from your center

to all your body,

bringing relaxation to all of it.


PAUSE


Now, give yourself permission

to safely and comfortably

submerge into the ocean.


Know that you are

warm and comfortable

and can breathe with ease.


PAUSE


And while submerged,

a creature appears.

A creature with silky tentacles

flowing behind it

like the train of a bride.


PAUSE


Light reflects off

the luminous creature,

along with a kaleidoscope

of ethereal colors

such as pearl, blue, and purple.


It is a jellyfish,

a creature both real

and surreal 

at the same time.



PAUSE


You observe the jellyfish,

as it contracts and glides,

contracts and glides.


It is both fragile

and strong

at the same time.


PAUSE


Moments later,

the jellyfish stops gliding,

and just floats

hovering like a celestial being

in the deep blue of the ocean.


PAUSE


As you watch the jellyfish,

you are struck by 

how this iridescent creature–

Just stops.

Just takes a breaks.

And feels no pressure

to resume swimming

until it's ready.


There is something powerful

for you 

in this awareness.


PAUSE


So, breathe.

Breathe and bring the

spirit of the jellyfish

into your consciousness

with an intention.


“I will give myself permission to stop

and take a break.”


Now, sit with the intention.


PAUSE


Let it really become part of you,

so that at any time 

you feel the need for a break,

you will act the like the jellyfish

and give yourself that break.


Remember the intention

and the spirit of the jellyfish

each and every day 

from now on.
