Death Valley, California is the background for many different legends and mysteries. Seeing temps well over 100 degrees in the summer, and with water and vegetation being a rarity, it’s hard to imagine anyone braving the elements to explore it, much less live there.  But for over 9,000 years humans, Native Americans in particular, have done just that, and the stories handed down to modern day tribe members speaks of an astonishing story.
