The night of February 24, 1978 did not appear to have been out of the ordinary in Chico, California. But The California State University at Chico held a basketball game from which five of it’s attendees would walk into mystery and intrigue that would still be debated over four decades later.
The events that would unfold after the friends got into their car that night have remained a closely held secret to a small patch of wintery woods in Yuba County.
