The Minister of Transport, Ms Barbara Creecy, together with the Deputy Minister, Mr Mkhuleko Hlengwa, has announced the deferral of the implementation of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act. Originally scheduled to begin on 1 December 2025, the national rollout will now commence on 1 July 2026.
