David Lynch. Dune. Eraserhead. Blue Velvet. Elephant Man. Twin Peaks.

Twin Peaks changed television and inspired a new kind of horror including The X Files. A drama series set in a small town, Twin Peaks showed us that high school student had been murdered. Who killed Laura Palmer? FBI agent Dale Cooper took the case and found supernatural aspects. Lynch said, "The project was to mix a police investigation with the ordinary lives of the characters." Characters such as the log lady, Hawk, Andy, Audrey and more became household names. We cared about each and we found ones to hate: Leo, Windom Earle, and more. We discovered what goes on behind closed doors, horrific secrets, Project Blue Book and UFOs, cave secrets, that owls are not what they seem, and that the log had plenty of advice. Creamed corn is evil. And along the way, we discovered who killed poor Laura. But there was more.  Beware the black lodge.
