With everyone throwing hard nowadays, command is now the separator. It’s no longer a choice between being either a power pitcher or a finesse pitcher today. You need to be both, velocity with command. Command is what separates pitchers from the pack today.

Brad was drafted in 1987 by the Yankees as catcher out of High School just before he was to attend Dartmouth College , and continued to go to Dartmouth while he played in the minor leagues. He then played extremely well for 18-years in MLB for the Padres, Tigers, Astros, and Dodgers. And then became the manager of the Tigers, Angels and the Israel National baseball team, and recently as the bench coach for the A’s.
