Pat is a former college baseball player at Cedar Valley college, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff & University of Texas Permian Basin. He was the Pitching Coach at McCook Community College and then worked as an Analyst/Scout with the Oakland A’s, and worked for the Phillies as the minor league pitching Strategist. He is currently with the Astros as their rehab pitching coach.
