The U.S. only recycles 47% of their aluminum cans! Which begs the question, how do you get more people recycling? Make a cartoon for kids! Jessica Alexanderson is the president of “Recycling is like Magic” which teaches and inspires kids to recycle through their programs, books and now a cartoon series called Heavy Metal Elementary. And here’s something cool – they got the band Pearl Jam to support it.
