That these men, both the host and the defense attorney, identify so strongly with "frustrated" "angry" Mark Redwine, the murderer and raving misogynist, is chilling. the defense guy is a piece of work in that he minimizes Mark's actions during the actual crime, and has a rose colored view of Mark's view of his wives and his children. He wants to convince us that Mark "lost his temper because Dylan backtalked to him, and threw Dylan around like a ragdoll, and whoops hit the kids head on the coffee table, and UNINTENTIONALLY killed him. Because poor Mark is a rough and tumble guy, but not actually dangerous, "can't control" his "emotions", and doesn't know his own strength". His scenario is very victim blaming of Dylan and very apologetic to Mark. Mark told his wives that he would see the kids dead rather than lose custody/control of them. And he told his one wife how he would dispose of a body - and then that's how he disposed of Dylan. Mark seemed to have a proprietary view of his sons
