Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

Genesis 4:8

The perpetual war between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman, prophesied by God in Genesis 3, finds its first fulfilment in Genesis 4, when Adam’s eldest son kills his younger brother. The prophetic implications of the first murder in human history must not be missed!
