Description

On this episode of the Shift with Shaye we are joined by fellow nurse Michelle Cutmore. Michelle is a proud Gomeroi/Gamilaroi woman, with 30 years experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in both NSW and Queensland. Michelle is a board director of the Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives or CATSINaM for short, and was recently elected president of NSWNMA Member Circle. Michelle’s passion for nursing is driven by a desire to provide grass roots care within the community, and help empower and enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to become nurses and midwives.

Note: You may hear some sounds of nature throughout the podcast - Michelle is recording on country.
