There’s a few really painful stats out there that show how miserable the last 5 seasons have been for Nebraska

-Per the World Herald’s Sam McKewon, Nebraska is 5-32 since 2017 against teams with 6 wins or more on the season. To break that down, Nebraska is 1-3 against teams that ended with 6 wins; 4-4 against teams that finished with 7 wins; and 0-25 against teams that finished with 8 or more wins
-That means there’s not even really one win to write home about the last 5 seasons. Not one! 4 ‘OK’ wins against teams that ended with 7 wins. But nothing beyond that.
-Also, as we pointed out yesterday, Nebraska now has the longest bowl streak of any Power 5 football team, with Kansas having qualified for a bowl. Rock bottom is getting pretty old.
