In this episode we're joined by Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Steph House. This is a must listen for all the new moms out there! She helps give practical advice for some of the physical ailments that new moms may experience, like diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues just to name a couple. She gives us some body tips that moms (whether having given birth last week or 20 years ago) can benefit from. She also candidly shares her own experience entering into mom-hood and some of the associated up's and down's. She is a real treat.
Steph is a licensed physical therapist who specializes in working with people with neurological and balance issues. Her background as a yoga instructor and her own healing journey have inspired her to teach others to heal their physical ailments using an integrative mind-body approach.
Steph has her doctorate in physical therapy and currently holds certifications in vestibular management and treatment, Professional Yoga Therapy, and Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise.
