Hazardous Weather Outlook. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest Iowa. west central Iowa. east central Nebraska. northeast Nebraska and southeast Nebraska. Day one. Today and Tonight. Flooding continues along the Missouri River from the inflow into Lewis and Clark Lake, downstream all the way into Missouri. A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon with lightning, brief heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds the main hazards over southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Days two through seven. Friday through Wednesday. Thunderstorms will be possible late Saturday afternoon through early Sunday as a cold front moves into the area. Pockets of heavy rain. lightning and possibly strong to severe storms will be possible with the cold front. Another storm system will bring the chance for storms Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Flooding will continue along the Missouri River from the inflow into Lewis and Clark Lake, downstream all the way into Missouri. Spotter information statement.
