Join Lorraine Campbell and Anne Céleste Eitzen for our second episode about trauma informed care. We discuss the importance of honesty and integrity that is part of this training. How to encourage professional boundaries and saying no as a form of care and compassion. There is an important conversation about cultural competencies and adapting our knowing of gender, race, culture in order to be trauma informed. Lastly we dive into the importance of organizations and management proving policies and procedures that are trauma informed so our childcare workers are protected and supported while managing challenging situations.
