Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast this afternoon and evening. The primary threat with these showers and thunderstorms will be heavy rainfall which could lead to isolated flash flooding. Additionally, some of these storms could be strong with gusty winds possible. Days two through seven. Wednesday through Monday. Strong to possibly severe thunderstorms may be possible Thursday and Saturday. Storm systems will move across the area Thursday and Saturday producing more widespread and stronger thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is likely with localized flash flooding possible. Spotter information statement. Spotter activation may be required Thursday afternoon and evening and possibly Saturday. Reports of flash flooding, storm damage, or heavy rainfall amounts will be appreciated this week.
