Today’s weather conditions for Denver Colorado, created at 5:15 AM on Tuesday, the 4th of June. Today, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 3pm and 5pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 82. Looking ahead, Tonight, a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Wednesday, a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. And then, Wednesday Night, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Sunrise today will be at 5:33 am and the sun will set at 8:23 pm.

Hazardous Weather Outlook. This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. Day one. Today and Tonight. Another round of showers and thunderstorms can be expected this afternoon and evening firing off the mountains then pushing east across the plains. The main threats will be gusty winds to 50 mph, brief rain and small hail. There is a slight chance of a severe storm further east across the plains, mainly east of the Palmer Ridge into Lincoln County. The main impacts with these stronger storms will be hail up to 1 inch in diameter, heavy rain and damaging winds to 60 mph. Storms will diminish by later this evening with clearing skies overnight. Days two through seven. Wednesday through Monday. More numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in the forecast area Wednesday afternoon and evening, along with a threat of locally heavy rainfall. Stronger storms will be capable of producing brief but heavy rainfall, with up to 1 inch of rain in 30 minutes or less. This may produce minor flooding in recent burn scars, and street flooding should a stronger storm occur in the urbanized I-25 Corridor. Thursday will be another cool day with isolated showers and storms, before a warm up begins on Friday and continues into Saturday. The next cold front is expected to arrive Saturday night bringing cooler temperatures for Sunday and Monday. Spotter information statement. Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
