🥣 IN THE KITCHEN🥣
Stabilized Whipped Cream
- 1/3 cup (2 1/2 fl/75 ml) plus 2/3 cup (5 fl oz/150 ml) whipping cream, cold
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Method: combine 1/3 cup (2 1/2 fl oz/75 ml) cream with the cornstarch in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes, until bubbly and thickened. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cornstarch mixture with the remaining cream and whip with a wire whisk or electric mixer for a few minutes or until you reach soft peaks.
- Use immediately or keep chilled until ready to use. This cream will last for at least 24 hours, but possibly longer.
