Voices from the Dust
Description
Since ancient times, people have been fascinated by the realm of the dead. Across cultures and centuries, there has been an undeniable urge to connect with this mysterious dimension, often through living people believed to have special access to the dead. Known as mediums and necromancers, these practitioners have appeared in both ancient texts and modern interpretations, offering contact with spirits in exchange for knowledge, guidance, or power.
In this episode, we take a closer look at who these individuals were, how their practices were carried out, and why Scripture draws such a hard line against them. This episode challenges us to recognize the allure of forbidden knowledge and the spiritual consequences of seeking it outside the will of God. What may seem like harmless curiosity can, in fact, be a direct rebellion against the authority of the Lord and lead to an opening for demons to come in.
