WHERE WOULD I BE

There are moments in life when I stop and ask myself, “Where would I be without the Lord?” The truth is I don’t know where I would be.
I do know that Without His mercy, I would be broken instead of whole, restless instead of at peace. Without His grace, I would be crushed beneath the weight of my own failures, wandering like the prodigal son in a foreign land.

But because of His love, He has released my fears, given me direction, and replaced the empty spaces with joy.
The words of Psalm 40:2 always come alive to me: “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” That’s what God does—He lifts us when we cannot lift ourselves, He restores us when we think all is lost.
