A Wisconsin native was recognized with special honors during World Dairy Expo.  

Jim Mulhern, Former President and CEO, National Milk Producers Federation delivered numerous positive results for America’s diligent dairy farmers by working behind the scenes to have conversations explaining many of dairy’s dynamic and deep issues to elected leaders and policymakers. His work has made lasting impacts on dairy and ag policy, and his colleagues routinely say his kindness, hard work, and collaborative nature are unmatched in policy circles. These are among the many reasons Jim Mulhern has been named World Dairy Expo’s 2025 Industry Person of the Year. Bob Bosold talks with the honoree.

Stephanie Hoff finds out what we should, and shouldn't be doing with the home stretch of good weather. Dane County Extension Horticulture Educator Lisa Johnson says there’s not a specific date to get your fall landscaping to-do list done. That requires eyes on the forecast. Other notes on today's interview: don't prune woody plants in the fall; some perennials need to be planted now, and some can wait until November; and keep native plant stems up to allow insects to overwinter.
