Wasson Peak and Muldoon Fires Update - Oct 3
Description
Yesterday afternoon resources working on the Wasson Peak and Muldoon fires responded to a vehicle fire on Lincoln Ridge Road, north of Crown King that quickly moved into brush. Firefighters with the help of a helicopter quickly stopped the progression of the Lincoln Fire keeping its size to 3/10 of an acre. The Wasson Peak Fire, burning south of Crown King grew by one acre and is now 18 acres. Firefighters will continue securing the fire’s edge, begin mop-op and monitor interior fuels that will continue to consume for the next several days.
