Matt Reid didn’t hide from the fact his Staking Strategy performance was poor in Devonport a fortnight ago but he more than made up for it on Sunday where his 24 suggested units returned 57 at best tote/starting price.

The eight-race program was dominated by local duo Codi Jordan and Glenn Stevenson who teamed up for a treble and on the Week in review podcast, Matt thinks all three of those winners may be worth sticking with.

There are plenty of eyes on Tasmanian racing at the moment, not just through the product each Sunday but the win of Still A Star at Caulfield last Saturday drew lots of praise and Hela will be hoping to become only the state’s second Group 1 thoroughbred winner at Morphettville this week.
