Trauma patients are the pinnacle of emergent care, What we have to consider is the process of treating them in the acute setting while preparing them for future care. This might include wound care, documentation, timely getting a concise history, or many other things. As providers, we struggle with parallel vision frequently so we have to be more diligent in the way we see these patients and set them up for success.
