Seattle-based lender Melissa Korda funded 209 investor loans / $118M in 2024. After 20 years in collegiate/pro sports (master’s in Kinesiology) and years of flips, COVID ended the “safe” path and she rebuilt from the ground up as a loan officer. Today she holds 3 long-term rentals, invests passively, and teaches women how to use private lending and creative capital to build aligned wealth.
