ChatGPT users can link their accounts to preserve chat history, while Copilot users do not have this option. Other AI chatbot providers are also expected to leave WhatsApp. Meta will continue to allow customer support and update bots, but will restrict the platform from serving as a distribution channel for competing AI products.
