Annie Frankel, PhD, is a public health professional specializing in health promotion and disease prevention, particularly among adolescents. She started her journey to public health when teaching middle school science and considering the social, behavioral, and environmental factors that impacted the health of her students. Twenty years later, she has practiced a multitude of roles in the field of public health including university teacher, curriculum developer, administrator, researcher, and the most rewarding role yet - mom to teenagers and a pre-teen!
