Hi...

Now you are probably wondering why I am talking about Spotify on a spiritual podcast.

Well it is cause I love Spotify so much and I have a spiritual application.

I do have this other video series or podcast called tech with Nonresistant where I may talk about Spotify some more sometime in the future.

Today I just wanted to share one reason I love Spotify for listening to podcasts.

The truth of the matter is that Spotify is not the best place to listen to podcast in 2021.

It's surprising that even though it is 2021 it can still be hard to find a good place to listen to podcasts.

There are the big platforms like apple podcasts, google podcast, and Spotify podcasts.

There are also many smaller podcast streaming platforms like Castbox, RadioPublic, SoundCloud, Breaker, and many more places.

There is nothing wrong with any of these podcast streaming platforms and if you are looking for a place to listen to podcast I encourage you to check out some of theses podcast streaming platforms.

One of the reasons that I love Spotify is that is cross platform and probably the easiest way to listen to music.

When it comes to listening to podcast on the other hand it is a little more different. Most podcast streaming platforms allow you to download and listen to podcasts offline. You can't do that with Spotify unless you have a premium subscription.

You ready for it...

The reason I love Spotify for listening to podcast or music it because at the end of the year they do this thing called your year wrapped where they summarize your year of listening.

I personally really love it.

It is almost like hearing a "Well done thou good and faithful servant".

I love being able to see my top Artist of the year and see how many minutes or hours I spent listening to podcast.

Last year my biggest podcast binge was listening to the work in progress podcast by Andy Mineo.

Of course I didn't need Spotify to tell me that.

But I can't wait to see my stats for 2021.

There are different times I feel like giving up using Spotify for listening to podcasts.

(Like right now that is why I am writing this.)

But whenever I think about using another application to listen to podcast I think about how at the end of the year Spotify gives you your year stats, and because I love that one feature I am going to stick with Spotify till the end.

Let's move on to my spiritual application.

Doing good is not easy.

Living the Christian life is not easy.

There are many things in life that are easier than following Jesus.

But let me tell you something.

If you don't follow him to the end, you will miss the reward.

Here let me share this verse with you...(And maybe things will make more sense.)

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9

If you would like a poster with that verse on it there will be a link in the description of this episode to my Merch Shop:

Such a good verse.

I just want to leave that thought with you today.

And I encourage you to think more about what you have read or heard from me here at The SunShining.

That is it for this episode of Daily SunShine.

By The way Daily SunShine is a podcast available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, so be sure to subscribe wherever you listen!
