Description
The European Broadcasting Union will vote in November on whether Israel can compete in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. Under a new rule, if more than 50% of members vote to exclude Israel, next year's contest will take place without Israel. And the vote, expected in December has now been brought forward to November.
KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Alon Amir, an expert and lecturer on the Eurovision and politics and a former spokesperson for Israel's Eurovision delegation.
