Over the last two weeks, we have witnessed, seen, and heard about massive shootings taking place in our nation. We have watched family members be on edge as they way to see if their loved one is alive or in the number of those reported dead on the scene. Yesterday was no different. We watched the news report of a massive shooting that took place at an elementary school in Texas. We listen as parents cried, some worried, and others paralyzed in shock at the news that this could happen at their kid's school. During these moments we hear talk about the mental health of the shooter; however, we can see that hate is not a mental health issue, it is an emotion that can affect one's mental health.
