It’s Beatles Covers 2: Electric Boogaloo. Yes, every part 2 of anything is Electric Boogaloo. Ask Turbo. We have cuts from George Benson, Nina Simone, Ramsey Lewis, Richie Havens, and Aretha Franklin. Nina has to be my favorite cut, cuz its Nina! And it’s Revolution but it’s not. The version I really remember of Richie Haven doing Here Comes the Sun is this:

…where he just burns the guitar up. I can’t find this version on any album, so I lifted this track from YouTube.
George and Ramsey put the George and Ramsey touch to their versions, it’s their signature sounds. There was an earlier post from George’s The Other Side of Abbey Road, if you’ve been paying attention (that’s actually my favorite Beatles song). And Aretha, she does only what she knows to do and “sangs”.
