In this solo podcast episode, Empowered Connection podcast host Daniel Cordua rounds out the last month's themes of spirituality, self empowerment, spiritual bypassing, and religious trauma with a talk on the tension between being inherently already whole and taking on a practices to make one whole.

There is a sigh of self compassionate relief in the profound spiritual understanding that we don't need to" fix "ourselves, but are already whole.

And it begs the classic question: if we are already love and loved, why must we take on paths, ideas, communities, or practices that prove or find that we are?

This irony is both beautiful and dangerous.

It shows that we are not better or worse than anyone, for we are all equal on a fundamental level of the Self (the beautiful)... yet that same understanding is leveraged by others to have power over others - or us to have shame towards ourselves - by stating you must "earn" that wholeness and equality by being part of a group, guru, or specific path (the dangerous or ugly) and proving your worth.

In this episode Daniel explores the beautiful sides of this paradox and the shadow sides, allowing the listener to have more empowered awareness of their own self and their self growth and/or spiritual practices and longings.
