You don't lose weight at the gym. You get strong at the gym. But you lose weight from what you eat, or what you don't eat.
How do I know? Well, there are so many overweight people who exercise every day. If the gym was mostly responsible for it, that would have showed.
Most diet shows when they have contestants on they show them exercising all day which all good. But they also have them on very strict diets. Which is key.
Fix your diet, because the gym is for overall health. Don't assume your workout burned too many calories.
