Your Emotions Are Valid — But They Are Not the Truth

Your Emotions Are Valid — But They Are Not the Truth
There are moments when your heart feels heavy, your mind races, and your emotions whisper stories that leave you discouraged or afraid. And it's okay to feel all of that. Every emotion you carry is real, and none of them make you weak. They simply reveal where your heart is tender, tired, or in need of comfort. But as real as they are, they don't get the final say about your life.
God does.
Your emotions may say you're alone, but God says, "I will never leave you or forsake you."
Your emotions may say you're failing, but God says, "My strength is made perfect in weakness."
Your emotions may say nothing will change, but God says, "I am doing a new thing."
Feel what you feel—God isn't afraid of your honesty. Bring every worry, every fear, every ache into His presence. Let Him gently separate what is temporary from what is true. His Word anchors you when emotions rise and fall like waves.
Today, let your feelings be a signal to run toward Him, not away. And let His steady, unchanging truth hold you close until the storm in your heart quiets again.
