The climax of Frank Ocean’s mixtape *nostalgia, ULTRA* is the song "American Wedding," which samples "Hotel California" by the Eagles, sparking controversy. Despite the mixtape's free release on Tumblr, the band demanded payment for live performances and threatened to sue. Ocean found this amusing. In 2015, Eagles member Don Henley harshly criticized Ocean, calling him a "talentless prick," and also criticized Okkervil River for a similar issue.
