lug.berlin -- the platform for regional linux user groups

Description
Within the Berlin area including Potsdam and Brandenburg, several Linux User Groups exist. To manage a better cross-linking between these groups, in 2008 the first meeting for the Berlin region took place. In early 2014, ICANN released the new top level domain .berlin, and this was one of the starting points for the new community platform lug.berlin. All interested groups are listed, and referenced on a map to simplify the local access, and to exchange information in a better way. In my talk I will look back on what did happen within the last years, and explain the idea behind, and the results of the platform.
