Now, I am no longer intoxicated or eager to share the beauty of distant places or my joy with those I love.

如今，我已不再如痴如醉，也不再想将远方的美丽及自己的快乐和所爱的人分享。

My heart is no longer in spring; my heart is in summer.

我的心已不再是春天；我的心，已是夏天。

The call of foreign lands no longer stirs me as before, its echo in my heart more subdued than ever.

异乡对我的呼唤不同于以往，它在心中回荡的声音，也较以往沉静。

I no longer toss my hat into the air or sing aloud.

我不再雀跃地将帽子抛向空中，也不再欢唱。

But I smile—not with my lips, but with my soul, with my eyes, with every inch of my skin.

但我微笑。我不是以唇微笑，而是用心灵、用眼睛、用每寸肌肤微笑。

Now, standing before this fragrant land, I am more elegant, more restrained, more grateful than when I first arrived.

现在，面对着香气袭人的土地，我比当年邂逅时更优雅、更内敛、更深刻、更洗练，也更心存感激。

Today, I blend more deeply into this northern land; and it tells me richer, more intricate stories.

如今的我，比以前更融入这北国的一切；而它也为我娓娓诉说更丰富、更详尽的故事。

My longing no longer casts a dreamy glow over far-off lands.

我的思念，不会再为朦胧的远方增添梦幻的色彩。

My eyes are content with what they see; for I have learned to see—and the world has become beautiful.

我的眼光满足于所见的事物；因为学会了看，从此世界变美了。

The world has grown beautiful.

世界变美了。

I am alone, but not lonely.

我孤独，但不为寂寞所苦。

I have no more desires.

我别无所求。

I delight in being fully ripened by the sun; I yearn for maturity.

我乐于让阳光将我完全晒熟；我渴望成熟。

I welcome death, and rejoice in rebirth.

我迎接死亡，乐于重生。

The world has grown beautiful.

世界变美了。
