One of my most frequently asked questions is how to win clients from cold outreach. It's not something I do so, I called the only person I know who has grown his agency quickly in a year by learning the skills to implement a cold outreach strategy effectively. In this episode, Charlie explains how his dropshipping side hustle, while playing football in Australia, became his new obsession. Soon after discovering eCommerce, it became Charlie's passion and he quit football. The rest is history.Charlie speaks about working for different agencies, then taking the leap to start his business Paradigm Media. The business has gone from strength to strength in less than a year, now standing at a team of 3 people and growing. 🙌Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/charlie-williams-paradigm-media/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/charliebwilliams_/Website: paradigmmedia.uk***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? Aggie during this episode talks about how she is prepping herself and her retainer clients for her imminent maternity leave ✨All the blogs she read and podcasts she listened to were by freelancers doing project work.  If you have retainer clients, preparing for maternity leave is a whole different ball game. This is not a 'this is how you should do it' podcast episode.  Just an honest account of what the challenges have been so far and what steps have been taken mid-way through her pregnancy. No doubt a follow-up episode will follow once Aggie is back from maternity leave to go over what worked and what wasn't needed.***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? Hello, welcome to episode 15 of the freelance Ads Club Podcast. Today I'm joined by Rachael Nichols, who is the Founder, Artistic Director and generally all-round amazing designer who's behind my website.  Today we're going to be talking about what you need to think about when you're briefing a designer with your ad creative. It's become very apparent, that creative drives ad performance.  And now more than ever, designers are becoming more and more involved in the actual ad creatives.  As freelancers, some of us are in charge of the ad creative for our clients, but others work with designers who create the ads to a design brief. I've had so many questions about what I include in my design briefs and how I get over any miscommunications, so I thought, why not just bring in an expert, a designer that I've worked with in the past to talk this all through? So listen in and see what Rachael had to say. Rachael is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator & Inventor of great ideas, and has serviced a variety of clients from both a consumer and B2B background, including Aggie & the White Bee Digital's team.   After spending her childhood glued to a pencil and sketchbook, Rach channelled her passion for creativity into design. As a graphic designer, she has a knack for intuitive discoveries and turning them into visual assets, bringing concepts to life. For the past 8.5 years, Rach has worked for a number of award-winning PR, advertising and creative agencies, working with a range of clients from small businesses to international brands. She is also skilled at a range of digital disciplines including web design, hand-coded HTML email, social assets and animation.  Her superpowers are being razor focussed on tight deadlines, working really well under pressure and quickly adapting to specific client needs. If you want to contact Rachael please take a look at:Website: rndesign.co.ukLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rachmnic/***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? Today I am talking about how I deal with pricing objections.  I don't receive them too often but one I got out of the blue made me reflect on why it happened and the processes I have in place that usually stop it from happening. Hopefully, this episode will be useful if you face the same situation I found myself in and it will give you some tools on how to handle them or avoid them entirely!***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? In today's episode, I'm going to be talking about how I generate leads for my business.  It's probably the thing I'm asked the most in my DMs.Whilst there's no magic formula and everyone has different methods and personalities, it may spark some new ideas of things to try next.If you enjoy this episode, don't forget to subscribe so you never miss another one.***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? Today, I'm talking about the secret no one told me about niching.  And it's probably not what you expect. Now, the thing that has prompted me to talk about this today is finding my first-ever business card for White Bee Digital. It honestly looks so amateur now, but it's a good lesson. Everyone starts somewhere. And the thing that struck me most was not my old DIY branding, which I knocked up on Canva, which looks horrendous. But that I was calling myself. Aggie Meroni, Digital Marketing Consultant (and that was only 2 and half years ago). That is so different from what I do now, how others see me and what prompted me to record this episode.  Have a listen and see if you agree? Please click HERE if you are an agency or a brand and I can help.***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership? In the freelance ads club, we often have agencies approach us with opportunities for contracts and looking for talent. Not all freelance ads managers have white labelled for agencies before, or unfortunately, they've heard some dubious things, or they've had negative experiences themselves. In this episode I wanted to share some of my experiences of what it's been like white labelling for agencies, the pros and the cons, and also some things I've managed to avoid, and how I've managed to do that as well. Hopefully, if you're an ads manager who hasn't freelanced or white labelled for an agency before or has had a negative experience, you'll find this episode useful for the future and see it as an opportunity as part of your overall business offer. ***************************************************************************Keen to join the The Freelance Ads Club Membership?
