Description

The 9-5 Athlete Podcast.

My name is Ryan Stirton. I'm 26 years old and live in a little town called Forfar in Scotland.

I'm an Online Coach. I have 4 years experience online coaching and personal training alongside a Strength and Conditioning Degree. I've worked with over 200 people of all ages, levels and experiences.

The mission of this podcast is to help "The 9-5 Athlete" aka the guy or girl that has 10,000 different things on their plate. A family, a social life, fitness goals, career aspirations alongside many other things. It isn't easy to balance all these things. But i believe that with the right system and plan you can make it work. You are the vehicle to making all of these things in your life at success. But you may not have the answers right now...

That's why i created this podcast. To share lessons and insights from some of the industries leading athlete's and minds. As well as sharing some of my own experiences and mistakes along the way. Talking about things that aren't discussed enough in the fitness and health space.

I run "Team 9-5 Athlete" which is an Online Coaching Programme.

Mental health in the UK has been getting worse since COVID progressively. It's such a hard subject to talk about and i make sure to not step out with my lane here but i think it's important to help people bridge the gap between understanding mental health and getting help. That can be the hardest thing to do.I also talk about the effect training and nutrition can have on the way your brain works and hopefully help you make some steps forward towards improving it.
