Originally written for a live community event, it’s a chance to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your inner landscape. Before, or after practicing, I encourage you to reflect on these three prompts—whether through journaling, meditation, or simply sitting with them:🌱 Where in my life do I feel something new beginning to grow?🪴 What part of me is asking to be tended to with more care?🌸 What within me is already blooming? This practice invites deep rest, visualization, and connection with your Sankalpa (heartfelt intention), helping you clear what no longer serves and nourish what truly matters.Come back to it anytime you need to root down, reset, or reconnect.

This is a special [live session] recording of the yoga nidra practice from the Yogic Snooze live event a few days before Valentine's day, on the night of the full moon. Since this was recorded live, without special equipment, you might hear some natural sounds from the space and my voice—embrace them as part of the experience, just as we do in yoga nidra, allowing whatever arises to simply be.Prior to starting the yoga nidra portion of the event, we explored the beautiful duality of self-love—the soft, sweet moments of rest, and spoiling ourselves, ie, those "typical" things we associate with self-love, intertwined with the devotion it takes to keep the promises made to ourselves. This session encourages you to romanticize the commitment to your own journey, recognizing that self-love is not only about the tender moments but also about the courage to pursue your dreams. It’s about weaving together the softness of your heart with the resilience to show up for yourself, nurturing both sides of this beautiful relationship. So, find your cozy space, close your eyes, and let the soothing guidance of this yoga nidra wrap you in warmth. And remember - 💗 you are the love of your own life 💗
This is a special [Live Session] recording of the yoga nidra practice from my New Year’s Edition event. Since this was recorded live, you’ll hear some natural city sounds, including a couple of external noises during the body scan section. I hope you’ll embrace these moments as part of the experience—just like in yoga nidra, we practice accepting whatever arises and letting it pass. Before you start, take some time to reflect on your sankalpa—a heartfelt intention for the year ahead. A sankalpa is more than a typical New Year’s resolution; it’s a powerful statement that connects you to your deeper purpose and guides meaningful change. In this practice, we’ll let go of anything we want to leave behind in 2024 and set our sankalpa to plant the seeds for the year we want to create in 2025. It’s a chance to reflect, reset, and realign as you welcome the new year.Find a quiet, comfy spot, and join me in this restorative practice to start 2025 with clarity and intention.Wishing you a happy, healthy, and beautiful new year.
This episode, "Nighttime Ease," comes from a place of deep personal understanding. I've been there too - lying awake, watching the clock, feeling my heart race as anxiety builds with each passing minute. I know how frustrating and isolating those sleepless nights can be. The tossing, the turning, the endless cycle of thoughts that seem to gain momentum as the night goes on. And paradoxically, the worry about not sleeping only makes it harder to find it. It was on nights like these that I wished for a gentle guide, a soothing voice to help me break free from that anxious spiral. When I searched for yoga nidras they all seemed to be long, which would further trigger my anxiety about time and sleep. That's why I created this under 14-minute yoga nidra recording. It's the very thing I would have wanted to hear during those restless hours. Yoga nidra will help to reset your nervous system, and this recording will guide you through some calming breathwork a peaceful visualization. We will find at least a moment to quiet your mind, and ease your body, creating a space where sleep can naturally arise. Remember, this practice isn't about forcing sleep. It's about releasing the pressure and finding a moment of peace amidst the restlessness. Allow yourself to let go of expectations. Focus on the present moment, on your breath, and on the sensations in your body. So, wherever you are in your night, whatever anxieties or worries you're carrying, know that you're not alone. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and let's begin this journey towards nighttime ease together. May this practice bring you the comfort and rest that I know you deserve.
Welcome back to another episode of The Yogic Snooze! This second episode will help you find serenity and positive energy in your morning, to bring with you for the rest of your day. Our mornings set the tone for our entire day. It is a sacred time to realign our intentions, cultivate mindfulness, and feel gratitude. However, sometimes (or maybe more than sometimes...) we find ourselves rushing through our mornings to just get started with the day. This is why I created this episode, which is just under 15 minutes. So whether you have hours to indulge on your morning rituals, or can just barely squeeze these 15 minutes in, this episode is for you. In this episode, we will gently awaken both body and mind with some breathwork and rotation of consciousness. With each inhale, we draw in renewed energy and vitality; with each exhale, we release any lingering tension or worry. You will connect to your Sankalpa -- your heartfelt desire, or, set a positive intention for your day, planting the seeds of our aspirations deep within our subconscious. So, I offer you this moment with yourself, a moment of stillness, mindfulness, and intention, in order to recapture that sacred feeling we often lose in the hustle and bustle. May your morning be radiant, and may your day be filled with love, light, and peace.
Welcome to the soothing world of Yoga Nidra! In this first episode of The Yogic Snooze, prepare to embark on a journey of profound relaxation and bliss. Sleep is a fundamental pillar of good health and well being. Adequate sleep is essential for restoring energy levels, allowing our bodies and minds to recharge after a day of activity. During sleep, the body undergoes crucial repair processes, strengthening the immune system, repairing tissues, and consolidating memories. However, sometimes it can be hard to fall asleep or stay asleep. Sometimes we have too much on our mind, whether its stress, anxiety, pain, or excitement...this is where Yoga Nidra, and specifically this episode can help. Yoga Nidra helps with your sleep onset, helps you stay asleep throughout the night, and aids in calming your sympathetic nervous system. Studies suggest Yoga Nidra strengthens the body’s natural sleep cycles through enhanced parasympathetic activation, and that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restful as 4 hours of normal sleep. In this episode, I will guide you through various techniques to relax your body and mind. With these techniques, you will connect to your Sankalpa -- your heartfelt desire, you will feel and relax each part of your body, you will become aware of your healing breath, and you will practice being a witness of your thoughts. So, please prepare your space and get comfortable, and enjoy this episode as it helps you drift off into a night of peaceful and restorative sleep. May sweet dreams await!
