Now, nearly two years later, we still think it's important to wash our hands thoroughly and mindfully, so we're re-releasing this song as a tool for health and kindness inside and out. This is a hugging meditation for kids, based on the practice created by Thich Nhat Hanh. Science says that kids who are hugged a lot actually grow smarter, bigger, healthier, calmer, and more resilient than kids who are rarely hugged. Pediatricians recommend that all kids get at least 17 hugs a day! we're loving this podcast! we lay on the floor head to head and holding hands. then, off we go to meet the whale or some elephants. they do deep breathing without fighting us about it. it's nice meditation minutes for us adults too!
