Husky Talk- Lenny Dandridge

Husky Talk- Lenny Dandridge

2024-09-0801:13:11

Husky Talk returns with an alum who overcame the odds despite his height, former UConn Football speedster Lenny Dandridge. Procyon Partners is a proud supporter of Husky Talk. They are a boutique Financial planning company offering many services including consulting for businesses and executives. President Sean Rabinowitz provides exceptional outcomes for his clients, go to www.procyonpartners.net to see how they can help you. Lenny was a flash from the start and could always run. He did not have the height of his peers but made up for it with his outstanding athleticism. Offense, defense, special teams, he did it all in high school despite weighing less than 170 pounds. UConn recruited Lenny and he came because of a chance to play early. Everyone underestimated him because of his size but he was a true playmaker. Came in as a defensive back but found success as a running back on offense. Along with Ed Long, Lenny was a perfect complement because he could get through small holes and once, he got to the second level it was over. These day's Lenny has a family and a son who has division 1 talent. Not only that, but he is also brilliant like his father, Brock has a 4.3 GPA and scored a whopping 33 on the ACT. I don't think if you added both times, I took the test together you would get a 33. Brock is a dynamic running back for Delbarton, an excellent high school in New Jersey. He will have a home soon! Green Street Trust proudly supports Husky Talk. Ronel and his team specialize in tax and asset protection strategies to maximize your wealth through Tax & Estate Planning. Schedule a free strategy session at https://calendly.com/greenstreettrust Mike Burton and his team have done an outstanding job with Bleeding Blue For Good, an organization raising NIL money for UConn. He is working non-stop, and I am not letting him go at alone. This is an important time for us, as we have a chance to join the Big 12 conference. We must come together and show the power UConn has, especially if we want to have continued success is sports. Please go to bleedingblueforgood.org and donate. If you can give $200 to $500 dollars it will make a huge difference and prove we can be dominant even in the NIL world.
Husky Talk has a guest who was so much fun to talk with, Hezekiah Faison Jr. A former UConn Football powerhouse who was part of the foundation of our success to move up to be a Division 1 FBS program. Procyon Partners is a full-service Financial Planning company. They specialize in employee benefits, wealth management, and retirement planning. President Sean Rabinowitz provides his clients with exceptional results and is a proud supporter of Husky Talk. Hezekiah is from the DMV, which is a hotbed of a football recruiting area. He went to legendary powerhouse DeMatha High School in Maryland, which is one of the best in the country. He played on teams with amazing talent and college recruiters would visit daily. He decided on UConn because he felt he would have an opportunity to play early on and like everyone else, loved the family atmosphere. Not only with the football team, but with all the athletes. At 5'9 185 pounds, he was a tough, physical runner who always ran hard. Listen as he tells his story. After graduation, Hez worked in software sales but found success in the IT field. Just recently, he took a job working with the Federal Government and there isn't a better job for health care, benefits, and retirement. Currently, he has a son who plays linebacker at Millersville, a strong division 2 college in Pennsylvania. Green Street Trust proudly supports Husky Talk. Husky Talk- Kafi Davis

Husky Talk- Kafi Davis

2024-09-0801:07:24

Husky Talk is the best podcast around showcasing our alumni and how successful they are doing. We had Kafi Davis on, who is a former UConn Track star and had a great career. Procyon Partners is one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in our country. President Sean Rabinowitz will provide you with exceptional outcomes, and a proud supporter of Husky Talk. Kafi was always a spectacular athlete, listen to her story how she fell in love with track. She was a dedicated hard worker and competed in many events. Each person can participate in 4 per meet, her specialty was the long jump, 100-meter and 4 by 100-meter relay. She was recruited by coaches after seeing her performance and the numbers do not lie. After visiting UConn, she loved the family atmosphere and knew she found her college. Kafi went on to have a great career at UConn. She said it was a grind because unlike other sports, Track did not have much of an offseason. You can hear Kafi talk about constantly training for indoor and then you are competing in outdoor before you know it. Kafi was always used as much as possible because she scored points in whatever event she did, but she said long jump was her best. After graduation, what is even more impressive is 7 years ago, Kafi was the first black female firefighter hired by the Norwich Fire Department. Her athleticism, strength, desire, and passion had made Kafi one hell of a fire fighter. She is also an excellent mother of 3 kids, two teenagers. Kafi keeps them off electronics and they all are sensational athletes who excel in wrestling. Green Street Trust International has NOW become a PROUD SPONSOR of Husky Talk! Ronel Jumpp, former UConn Football stud, wants to help you with taxes and estate planning. Green Street works to provide tax reductions, so more money stays in your pocket. Go to their website at greenstreettrust.com for a FREE consultation. Mike Burton runs Bleeding Blue For Good to raise NIL money for our athletic department. His team has raised over a million dollars since he started. For continued dominance in all sports, we need to come together, show that UConn is only becoming stronger. Go to Bleedingblueforgood.org and donate for a tax write off. If we all give $200 to $500, that will go a long way. I appreciate the support for Husky Talk. Everyone has helped the show grow. Just listen, hear the journeys of our alumni, laugh and I hope you are entertained,
Husky Talk is back with a spectacular guest, former UConn Volleyball Star Stephanie Schindel. She was nice enough to give us her time and we had a fun episode. Husky Talk is sponsored by Procyon Partners. They are a boutique full service Financial firm that offers consulting for executives and businesses. Go to their website at www.procyonpartners.org Stephanie was an absolute joy to interview. Her journey to UConn is truly unique. She was always a talented athlete and knew early on she wanted to play Volleyball at a high level. All the way from California, she was recruited by UConn and her visit was why she decided to become a Husky. The closeness of the team and family atmosphere won her over. Steph dealt with injuries and there was turmoil behind the scenes that caused at coaching change. Stephanie met with Patty Babcock and got a release to transfer but did not want to leave behind her teammates who she grew to love. At 5'10, she considered herself short for Volleyball but once healthy, she became a force to be reckoned with. Her play picked up steam in 1999 and 2000, she regrets the team didn't build on the success of the 1998 season when they won the Big East. Steph is beautiful, brilliant, hardworking and is not afraid to overcome adversity. After UConn, she spent several years working with special needs kids and made a difference in their lives. It took a toll on her emotionally and she wanted to change careers. Ryan Brown, who we had on the show a week ago, helped Stephanie get started in the Finance world and she has not looked back becoming very successful on her own. October 5th the Volleyball team is being honored for their 1998 Big East Championship. We are planning a live Husky Talk at the UConn vs Temple game and then will go back to campus to hang out with the girls. I will put together a day and night of fun. As Steve Darby said, its time to get the band back together. Also, we have to thank Green Street Trust international, run by former UConn Football force Ronel Jumpp, they offer many services as well and are looking to help nonprofit organizations with tax breaks, Ronel will take care of anything needed. Go to greenstreettrust.com and reach out. Lastly, we need to help Mike Burton raise NIL money so we can join the Big 12 and be dominant. He doesn't need big money, if we all can give $200 to $500 dollars, we can show the power of the UConn alumni network. I want to continue doing Husky Talk and prove our value. We are giving alumni a voice and raising money at the same time. Bleedingblueforgood.org is the site, donate to whatever sport you want, but lets all do it together. Mike has given more than anyone to UConn, and I am here for him, because he is NOT alone. Stephanie, I hope to meet you on the 5th and the time is NOW.
Husky Talk- Rob Long

Husky Talk- Rob Long

2024-09-0501:00:48

Procyon Partners specializes in wealth management, retirement planning, and employee benefits. President Sean Rabinowitz is a proud supporter of Husky Talk. Head to their website at www.procyonpartners.org for more information. Husky Talk is back with Rob Long, a former UConn defensive end and linebacker. Also, the proud father of son Champ who is competing down at the University of Maryland at quarterback. Rob shares his story growing up in New Jersey and playing Quarterback himself. Being all over the field, he played linebacker on defense and was a force to be reckoned with. He was recruited by UConn and came in undersized but was a spectacular athlete. Also, part of the 1998 team that is the best in UConn football history. I came in 1999 and my first week was tasked with blocking Rob. I don't think I got a finger on him the entire time because of his speed. Green Street Trust International is a Financial Planning firm that offers many services. They work with non profit organizations to help them receive tax breaks and benefits. Ronel Jumpp is a former UConn football player and wants to help you get the most out of your organization. Check out greenstreettrust.com to see their services. Rob is a proud father of his son Champ who was a top recruited quarterback. Rob was a little torn watching him play against UConn last weekend, but the best is yet to come. Champ has real talent and ability, once he gets his chance, the cream always rises to the top!
Husky Talk was treated with a special guest Kevin Solomon who was pleasure to have on as a guest. His father played football at UConn and Kevin knew all about the Huskies. Kevin was a good athlete and played many sports growing up. His father was an incredible influence by allowing and encouraging him to try as many sports as Kevin wanted. He settled on baseball as his main focus because it was his best chance to compete at the college level. After a visit to Kent State, Kevin came to UConn and loved the family atmosphere from the team. Kevin had his dream come true being able to play division 1 baseball at UConn with some of the most talented players around. Since graduating, Kevin has an outstanding job at Verizon, but even better is the Husky Ticket Project which is a non-profit organization he put together. Kevin and his team wanted to give back, providing tickets to underprivileged kids to attend UConn sporting events. Of course, there is a high demand for basketball tickets, Kevin always makes sure to have enough games for the kids to be there for. I can tell you from experience, being able to watch UConn play football and basketball in person was a huge reason I committed. When you are bringing kids to a UConn game, seeing the atmosphere, passion, and enthusiasm can change the direction of your life. Please support Kevin by going to his website at Huskyticketproject.com Procyon Partners are one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the country. President Sean Rabinowitz is a proud supporter of Husky Talk and will provide exceptional outcomes for his clients. www.procyonpartners.com Mike Burton has done a spectacular job raising NIL money for UConn and doing most of the work by himself. SMU is joining the ACC, within 24 hours they raised over 150 million dollars for their NIL. They made a statement that football is important, and they understand what it will take to succeed in a conference. We need to flex our muscles and show UConn has the power to raise NIL money because we know the value of being a member of the Big 12 will provide more revenue for athletics and ultimately the school. Please go to bleedingblueforgood.org and pick a sport to donate to. We don't need a 10,000 dollar donation. If everyone can give just a little bit of money, between $200 and $500 dollars, our collective can raise money to make a difference. On the field, we can recruit talent that will dominate. I don't want to see us trounced by Maryland. It's not all on the UConn football team, it's on us as alumni to step up and give so we can have success. All donations receive tax exceptions as well
Husky Talk- Ryan Gresh

Husky Talk- Ryan Gresh

2024-08-2901:02:27

Husky Talk was given an amazing gift yesterday when UConn alum and entrepreneur Ryan Gresh joined the show. He was intricate in developing the family business called The Feel Good Lab which has turned into an amazing success. Ryan tells the story of his father being a pharmacist and having a vision for a different way to help people. They focus on diet and nutrition. Depending on your ailment, how your body responds to certain foods can be causing those problems. The Feel Good Lab has an office on campus at UConn, works with their athletes as well as other colleges, professional sports players and regular people. They have tests which can determine what foods could be causing issues and what nutrients you have a deficiency of. I was completely blown away. They enjoy working with people who want to be proactive and prevent health problems from occurring. But Ryan loves helping people struggling with pain or ailments and finding a holistic solution for them. The Feel Good Lab offers many products from topical pain relivers that are all natural, to probiotics, they will work with you not once, not twice, but over a period of time to monitor how you are feeling and responding to their plan. Nutrition is the key to staying healthy, getting enough sleep, exercising and its a lifestyle change for most people. Listening, making changes, living a healthier life in all aspects is where clients see results. Ryan receives letters from people who got their lives back from his products and are able to do things they love again. I learned so much from talking with Ryan and wish I had more time with him. He sent me a care package and I can't wait to meet him soon. Procyon Partners are a proud sponsor of Husky Talk. They are a boutique Finacial full service financial services firm that offers consulting to businesses and executives. Mike Burton has done an outstanding job raising NIL money for UConn to keep us successful on the field. Bleeding Blue For Good has raised a ton of money and nobody has given more than Mike. We have a chance to get into the Big 12 and generate more revenue for UConn and Mike has been going at this with a small group. I offered my support and believe if we all can give something, it will make a tremendous difference. He isn't expecting $5000 dollars, if all of us can contribute $200 to $500 dollars, UConn will send a message to the rest of the country that we have the power to compete with anyone. Please go to www.bleedingblueforgood.org, pick a sport, and contribute. The time is NOW and the BEST has yet to come.
All new episode of Husky Talk with a mountain of a man, Mr. Ronel Jummp. Coming to UConn to play football as a defensive lineman all the way from Florida. Ronel and his cousin RC both wound up in Storrs together, RC is his cousin. He played from a young age, Ronel did not get started with football until his freshman year of high school. Big, strong, physical, good with his hands, he played all over the field. He credits having great coaches and an even better team which helped bring eyes to watch his performance. A monster in the weight room, I remember watching Ronel bench press and squat the house. But he was one of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet. He was part of the 1998 team that is the best in school history and the only time UConn football made the playoffs. These days, Ronel is back in Florida, married with a son who also plays football and this is his senior year. Always brilliant, a double major at UConn, he started his own firm that offers a variety of services...wonder where you have heard that line before. Check out his website at www.greenstreettrust.com for more information. Meanwhile, we want to thank President Sean Rabinowitz and Procyon Partners for being a proud sponsor of Husky Talk. They are one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in the country. UConn is hoping to move to a conference and the Big 12 is watching us. Mike Burton has worked tirelessly to build an NIL collective to help all of our programs. No donation is too small, if we all contribute something, we will help our Huskies make a monumental change and bring in conference revenue that will make a difference. Everyone go to www.bleedingblueforgood.ord and pick a sport you want to contribute to.
Husky Talk was able to have a guest who has a wonderful story, and played in the NFL for 8 years, UConn Football Defensive Back Robert McClain. This was my first time meeting him, what an impressive, respectful, young man who has a desire and earned all his success.Procyon Partners is a boutique Financial Planning Firm who offers consulting to businesses as well as executives. President Sean Rabinowitz is a proud sponsor of Husky Talk.We also wish UConn Football Alumni Gino Herring well as he launches his app called Better Candidate. It is available in select counties in Florida, like Broward County, and helps people navigate the voting process. Candidates can register to talk about where they stand on issues. People can register to learn about the election process, who is running in their area, and what they need to do in order to vote.Robert grew up in a military family that moved around the country. His big break came when he was playing high school football in Maryland because he never came off the field. Playing Running Back, Wide Receiver, Defensive Back, Linebacker, Special Teams, he returned kicks, punts, filled the water bottles and cleaned the locker room. Kidding on the last two, but he did it all and was a special talent, a once in a generation athlete. After running a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash at the Penn State camp, Robert became highly recruited. Rivals only had him as a 2-star player and they clearly were way off. He decided to go to UConn and had a legendary career. After enduring the tragic death of UConn DB Jasper Howard, Reggie, as he was called at UConn, took charge on defense. He stepped up as a leader because younger guys were forced into action. Reggie was part of the 2007 team that won its first Big East Championship, 2009 team that upset Notre Dame in double overtime. Finishing his career in the Papa Johns Bowl defeating South Carolina and coach Steve Spurrier.Graduating early, he trained for the NFL and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers. Reggie had a successful career in the NFL which lasted 8 seasons. Attributed to his work ethic, intelligence knowing the schemes, speed, hard hitting, and passion. He was part of two NFC Championship teams with the Panthers and played in a Super Bowl.I was always a fan of Robert, watching him play with intensity and reckless abandon. He was part of the best recruiting classes in UConn history, sending players to the NFL regularly. What a journey, an amazing story, and a great young man.Robert is also a talented artist. He has an enthusiasm for art and does spectacular work. Go to his website at www.instagram.com/mcclainsart/ to purchase his beautiful creations. DM him if you have interest in anything or would like him to do a custom job.
Husky Talk- Ryan Brown

Husky Talk- Ryan Brown

2024-08-2642:03

Former UConn Soccer alum Ryan Brown, CHFC RICP MBA was our guest on Husky Talk. A brilliant man who is a dynamic, natural athlete, was part of the 2000 Men's Soccer National Championship Team. We appreciate the time he was able to give us for an interview and will definitely have him on again. We would like to thank our sponsors at Procyon Partners. They are in the top 50 fastest growing companies in the country and a full-service financial planning firm. President Sean Rabinowitz will make sure his clients receive exceptional results. Ryan was born in Louisiana and started playing soccer at 5 years old. His family moved to Texas and he became a star player in high school. His club and high school teams both lost in the regional finals, just missing out on a trip to the championship weekend for each competition. Ryan was the captain of both sides. Being from Houston, his visit to UConn was different for him because it was a bitter coldness he never experienced. Ryan reme mbers being in the press box with the other recruits as his coach promised that UConn would win a championship during their time there; choosing the Huskies was a no-brainer. Ryan was part of an incredible UConn squad that made the final four in both 1999 and 2000. Losing in 1999 with an arguably more talented team, they rebounded and brought home the National Championship in 2000. Ryan spent many years working in corporate America, which was a grind and he was tired of it. He spent time working in London, and now is running his own financial planning practice in Minnesota, ARA Wealth Strategies. Ryan displays outstanding leadership skills and built his company from the ground up. For more information, go to his website at ARAWealthstrategies.com. He is married with three kids and runs a successful business. After finally finding his calling, Ryan put it all together with a strong work ethic. Thank you, Ryan, for being on Husky Talk, any other soccer players interest ed, please DM me. Ryan is in spectacular shape, he played in the UConn soccer alumni game a few years ago, they faced the current team. Ryan's teammate from highschool and Uconn Chris Gbandi is now the UConn Men's soccer coach.

Procyon Partners are a full-service financial planning firm specializing in employee benefits, wealth management, and retirement planning. President Sean Rabinowitz is a proud sponsor of Husky Talk and is also our guest. Sean is a sponsor, but he has become a good friend and was a supporter of the show from the start. He believed in the concept, even when I didn't, and has been a huge influence. Sean helps with advice, guidance, and insight as I started this new venture. We talk about UConn athletics and Sean tells it like it is. Our sports teams have tremendous success, and we want to see football return to being a consistent winner. Coach Mora has done an outstanding job, the pieces are in place, talent is good enough, and we should have a winning season. Sean talks about the power of Husky Talk and how I should use the leverage I have with alumni to plan tailgates and events this season. We should get the band back together and do it our way, make it fun, spend time together with friends we haven't seen in years. Sean fully believes I am the glue and have power, if I take control and provide enough notice, the band will get back together. Always a blast having him on, and his support has been paramount to growing our brand. Adding additional programming to have something for everyone. I want to hear from you. Our first home game against Merrimack, are people interested in a live Husky Talk from a tailgate? Sean said timing is important, noon and night games aren't easy. I want us to come together and be a family again. Please comment on when we should start!
Husky Talk- Leigh Torbin

Husky Talk- Leigh Torbin

2024-08-2001:49:44

Husky Talk is back with a guest who will blow your mind! Former UConn Football Sports Information Director Leigh Torbin. Currently he works as a Production Assistant with ESPN as a statistician and spotter during college football games. Leigh and I could have talked for hours. He has a wealth of knowledge and information of all sports because he pretty much either played or worked with them. Growing up in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was a sports junkie from the start. He tried different sports and according to him, the one he was the "least bad at" ended up being baseball. As a diehard Red Sox fan, I mentioned that I host a radio show about the Worcester Red Sox. Leigh also works for a Triple A team for the Chicago Cubs and explained the pitch clock to me because he operates it for their games. He knew Worcester traded top prospect Niko Kavadas and went over the situation with me since our team had no idea why they moved him. I don't want to tell Leigh's story for him, listening to his journey is fascinating. From starting a newspaper in high school to going straight to the SID office when he arrived at UMass and all the stops in between Leigh because he would always throw me a bone after games and send me out to the press for interviews. Kyle Muncy, who I also love, Ed Injaychock and I would yell out his name when he walked by us. He would think something was wrong, but we would ask Kyle if he needed us for interviews, he would laugh as he walked away. Kyle is awesome and we appreciate his support of Husky Talk.' Our episode went a little long, but Leigh Torbin is a blast to interview. I guess being around watching players being interviewed for helps you become a master. Don't miss this fun interview with Leigh and I appreciate all the support he has given to Husky Talk.

Watch for yourself the wildest episode of Moneyline to ever exist. Football, Olympics, Politics, Sarcasm, jokes, debates, and pure entertainment GOLD!!!
For the first time ever on Husky Talk, we had a former Olympian as a guest, UConn Track and Field legend Bethany Hart Gerry. Bethany is extremely busy with her career and family; we appreciate the time she gave us. Bethany grew up in a small town of Grafton, Massachusetts and always played sports. She did not see herself as a great athlete, it was her work ethic that set her apart. Bethany and her twin sister took to Track and Field where they competed at the varsity level as freshmen. Bethany threw shot put, discuss, and ran the 100-meter dash. She improved tremendously throughout high school, her parents pushed the value of having a great education and her interest was in Physical Therapy. Unfortunately, she was not accepted to Ithaca and Northeastern, but found her calling as a Husky, just in Storrs at UConn. On a visit, she ran into a track coach purely on accident and mentioned that she competed as well. Bethany started indoor as a walk-on and the rest is history. Although, she wanted to perform more events, Bethany excelled at the Hammer Throw. It was not offered in Massachusetts, but she took to it like a duck to water. UConn kept her as a walk-on, then she progressed to a partial scholarship to finally achieving a full scholarship her last few years. Talk about someone who EARNED everything she achieved, Bethany always had a desire with a strong work ethic, which is why she pushed herself past her limits in the weight room. She knew in order to move or throw heavy objects; she was going to have to lift and become as powerful as possible to be the best. Taking a day off became almost tragic because she felt like she wasn't doing enough to improve. Bethany has a legendary career at UConn in the Hammer Throw. She was a Big East Champion, she placed at Nationals and was multi-time All American. Bethany overall is one of the best athletes to come out of UConn ever. She studied athletic training which helped her learn how to be proactive and prevent injuries, as well as heal them. She trained for the Olympics in the Hammer Throw as well but was introduced to the Bobsled event. She had the speed and strength that made her a perfect fit. Bethany trained for Bobsledding as she was getting her master's degree. In 2006, it was the first time the Olympics did a female bobsledding competition. She made the team and was featured competing on the largest stage in the world. One of her proudest moments recently was going back to UConn and seeing a monument put up to honor our athletes who went to the Olympics'. She was there with her family, and it was beautiful. Bethany was a gifted athlete, her desire, determination, passion and belief that she could outwork anyone is a huge reason she experienced success. These days, she has her own personal training business. She likes to work with moms and help them with their goals. Bethany has done CrossFit, another avenue to train. Talk about a special journey, Bethany went from a college walk on to Olympian and is the greatest women's Hammer Thrower in UConn history. Congratulations! Procyon Partners are a proud sponsor of Husky Talk. They specialize in Employee Benefits, Wealth Management, and Retirement planning. Thank you, President Sean Rabinowitz for all your support.
Husky Talk is back with a fun loving, bubbly, Maria Shaker who is a former UConn Volleyball star. She has a wonderful personality and an incredible journey that has led her to tremendous success.Maria played volleyball at an early age and fell in love with the sport. She credits her parents for putting her in every sport in all the different seasons until she found her calling.Maria went to camps, played on travel teams and was recruited heavily. However, she didn’t take an official visit to UConn until May of her senior year in high school and committed shortly after. Maria knew she wanted to be on the east coast, especially New England, after growing up in Cleveland, Ohio. She was on the court as a freshman and played a significant role in the Volleyball team winning the Big East championship in 1998. Maria started the rest of the way as a center, who is like the quarterback in volleyball. She has amazing leadership, setting up plays, making sure the girls were in the right position and was voted to the All Big East team .Maria is extremely intelligent and wanted to get into medicine. She majored in Molecular Biology and received her masters at Case Western University before going to medical school at Wright State. She has been an OBGYN and Gynecologist for the last 10 years . Maria also is in charge of training the residents, which isn’t surprising because she still has strong leadership qualities.Maria was a pleasure to interview and I plan on meeting her on October 5th when the 1998 Volleyball team is honored and UConn Football plays home against Temple Procyon Partners are a proud sponsor of Husky Talk . Husky Talk- Eric Bechtal

One of the coolest, most interesting guests I have ever had on Husky Talk, Mr. Eric Bechtal. A man who is living an incredible life after being a free safety for UConn football in the late 80's. My writing will not do our interview justice, Eric Bechtal has literally done it all. He worked for the WWE, which of course I went crazy over being a huge WWE Fan and more importantly, he knows HULK HOGAN! Eric worked in different industries before forming his own company IdeaQuest. He works with Fortune 500 companies developing, implementing integrated sales and marketing programs within the sports, entertainment, media and technology industries. Eric has an incredible journey and listening to where he came from to the hilarious stories he shares, this is an amazing episode, listen, Eric will captivate you throughout! Please go to www.ideaquest.com to request services. Procyon Partners are a complete financial services firm, ranked in the 50 fastest growing companies in the country. When I make my first million, I know President Sean Rabinowitz will have me buying a yacht in no time! Procyon are proud supporters of Husky Talk, and the BEST is yet to come.

On 97.M FM Unity Radio, there exists the greatest sports talk show in Worcester, Massachusetts, the second largest city in New England. That show my friends, is called Moneyline. If you live in the 508, Thursdays and Friday nights you should be listening to the number 1 rated sports show in town, Executive Producer is Ernie Floyd. Frank Cristiano and David Shuman join me for a spirited episode. We talk about the run on Quarterback contracts with Tua and Jordan Love getting massive deals before the option year of their rookie contracts. Tua with concussion issues, Jordan Love performed admirably down the stretch, leading the Packers to a play-off berth and win. Coach Schuman pulls out a Dave Brown reference with the NY Giants, one of my favorite QBs growing up, in reference to Daniel Jones. Frank and Schuman believe Tua not being dynamic as a runner will keep them from taking the next step. We look at the AFC East and give insight into who will win the division. Dave thinks with a healthy, motivated Aaron Rogers on the field, the Jets will come out on top. Frank does not see Buffalo improving because they lost so much and did not gain enough in the draft. Sanjiv's Incredible Journey

This was a break from our usual Husky Talk shows, but I felt it was important to learn from an incredible person who is light years more intelligent than me. It was enlightening for me, and I am proud to share this episode. I was lucky enough to sit down with my friend Dan Circelli's Father In Law Sanjiv Shah. It was a tremendous learning experience, and this is part 1 of our interview. Sajiv was beyond kind and helped me to grow as a person. Sanjiv is definitely a true Renaissance Man, on his incredible life journey having spent many years in both Eastern and Western Cultures. What is each culture learning from the other, along with what can we really learn from each other. He has experiences and insights on many diverse topics. Sanjiv and I talked sports, music, cultural trade balance and meditation. I appreciate his knowledge and kindness because Sanjiv sincerely wanted to help me succeed in life. Apologies to everyone, I was sick and my e-mail was hacked, making us unable to post podcasts. My passwords were changed, and I was able to start a new Spotify account without losing our podcasts. Husky Talk had a guy I bled with on and off the field, our Center Billy Irwin. We played together and accomplished some amazing goals like defeating our first Big East opponent, Rutgers, beating out first Big 12 Ranked opponent in Iowa State, shutting out Navy and closing Memorial Field putting up 63 points. Husky Talk is sponsored by Procyon Partners. They are one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in the country. President Sean Rabinowitz has built an incredible Finacial Services company that specializes in Employee Benefits, Wealth Management, and Retirement planning. Billy shares his journey coming from Virginia, working his way up to be our starting center and becoming a leader. He was part of 4 great teams, including UConn Football's first bowl win in 2005 against Toledo. Having moved around a lot, you hear how he got into academic counseling to help the next generation of athletes succeed. Currently at in California, he lives with his wife and two kids. I appreciate his support of the show, and he gave me special advice that meant a lot.
