Take a few friends and enjoy a great day out! This does change the way we look at life it gives us a break from everyday and changes the dynamics of life, if we don't do this we become stagnant at life and don't enjoy it. The Mornington Peninsula has about 50 wineries that you can enjoy, and visit spend the day and relax, learn about the wine and how certain foods compliment it. Learning to pair wine and food is a great way at changing your palate and introducing new products to your viewpoint. Being open and learning is a constant challenge in life, one that we really can enjoy, in this case, it does change and transform us as we continue on our journey about food and life together. How long has it been since you stopped? Let things go? Life is about the experience, we need to stop and smell the rosemary. Enjoy a picnic with friends or family, meet people you haven't seen for a while, and instead of going somewhere to eat, bring the food together and share it, spend the whole day and enjoy each other's company, a few glasses of champagne the outside air, this is the best medicine in life. Mantra: Nature is my way of enjoying the moments that life gives me. Laughter is the best medicine, friends are the remedy, and nature is the cure. Carmela
Life is about living in the experience. learning from another person can lift our own skills and knowledge, being open for change can invite passion into our every day life. Invite a chef into your home and divide the cost with some friends and share a wonderful experience this will totally transform the way you look at cooking. It will give you another person's view point that you can put into practice and learn from. Go on! Mantra: Life is an experience, the answer is choosing to live life in the experience. Carmela
I believe that this is the story to everyone’s life, it is our journey in transforming the way we think about cooking. When we choose to cook at home, we are actually choosing to take control of what we put into our food. It will bring a sense of consciousness to not only what we eat, but also how we eat. Time is a slave to our everyday. Cooking is the opposite to time. Cooking requires our attention and our devotion. Investing into our life, into our family, into others. Choosing what is important, and where we are going. Mantra: Time is my friend, I will wait and allow the transformation to take place, nothing is as important as this. Carmela
It’s important that we continue to create a mindset in supporting our local community of farmers, it doesn't matter how little or big they are they are our community. Together we grow. Take the time to enjoy fresh fruit & vegetables make a trip share it with friends or your children, or neighbours children, food is about connection. Together we are stronger. My Mantra: My community is built from you and me. Carmela

If your baked goods have a weird texture or don't look the best, you might have substituted an ingredient, always follow the recipe to precision, and don't just think that you can substitute ingredients, as it will affect the taste and the texture. Enjoy baking, take the time out, of your busy schedule and just make an appointment with yourself, a glass of wine, and music, just letting all the hustle and bustle of life out the door. Enjoy being mindful when baking and allow the process to evolve, as baking requires time. When we have allowed this to happen we end up having a break from life, it just allows us to be. This is important, as life is just always requiring time from us. Baking requires time your time. Carmela #podcast #101Ways #transform #cooking #author #chef #sicilian #food #episodes #international
Cut your food into evenly sized pieces, when you are placing them into your microwave adding the larger and thicker pieces to the outside of the dish and the small ones in the middle. cover your food with a lid or microwave plastic wrap, this will trap the steam and promote more even cooking. rotate and stir food during cooking. wait until the standing time is over before you check that the cooking is complete. remember - food continues to cook even after the microwave is turned off! Enjoy! Carmela #podcast #letfoodbethymedicine #episodes #101ways #transform #food #cooking
