As a sort of extension of last week's scripts for handling things when sh*t gets weird at work, today we are going to dive into how to manage situations like:
- explaining why someone isn't getting a promotion
- providing honest feedback on poor performance
- respectfully challenging a client, customer, or colleague
- confronting repeatedly unacceptable behavior, such as not keeping commitments, hoarding resources, hurtful language or even substance abuse.
- discussing or breaking a "taboo" issue like dress or hygiene
- acknowledging or admitting a mistake before it gets caught
- asking for help
