Start building your email list! If you have started, optimize the process and results. List building isn’t all that complex.
1. Set up a dedicated landing page. This is a page focused on one call-to-action without other distractions. You can use the easy, powerful and highly tested LeadPages to accomplish this or go to places like ODesk and Elance and find someone to create your page fairly inexpensively.
2. Give away something your target audience REALLY wants. One quick way to do this (no procrastinating!) is to simply create a resource guide in a word document. Perhaps “The 4 Tools to X (benefit)”, or “The 5 Resources I use to X (benefit)” etc. Save it as a PDF and it’s ready to go.
3. Send all traffic from social media, webinars, other content to your landing page.
All of the most successful coaches and consultants are building a responsive list and you need to do the same. If you have already started the process then examine your results and see if you can improve your number of new prospects. Do you have a dedicated page devoid of distractions? Is your offer compelling?
