I am excited to share with you todays guest, a local hero and personal inspiration Nancy Caruso. Nancy is a marine biologist, a naturalist and Founder of the non-profit Get Inspired! A tenacious advocate for the conservation and restoration of our marine habitat off Southern California, Nancy has successfully accomplished restoring kelp forests back to our coastline. Nancy continues her work to fight to maintain our kelp forests and their many inhabitants amongst the growing threats they face. In the process Nancy has educated and shepherded thousands of school children and adults alike towards responsible stewardship of nature through her hands-on approach, creativity and pure love and curiosity of the natural world.
